There were many buzzes that the film Singam to be directed by Prabhu Deva with Vijay is to be confirmed soon. The animal name Singam not works for Vijay because Director Hari already registered the name for his next venture with Surya. Now Vijay and Prabhu Deva are looking for catchy title to attract more viewers. Hari said that the name already registered for Surya and he is going to continue with the same name.

While Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s contributions to movies continue, his extended family comprising son MK Muthu and grandsons Arivunidhi and Udayanidhi are out to reclaim tinsel town fame. While Muthu and son M Arivunidhi have turned crooners, Udayanidhi is busy making a name for himself as a producer. Narrating his experience under the tutelage of music director Srikant Deva for a new movie Perumal, Arivunidhi said: “I have been interested in playback singing since my childhood and my love for it increased further even after I became a doctor. When Srikant Deva offered me a chance, I grabbed it.”

‘PANDI’ is yet another movie by Hitesh Japak of Nemichand Japak who have produced two movies so far- both 100 day superhits: ‘Naan Avanillai’ and ‘Anjaathey’. The movie will feature Raghavendra Lawrence in the lead role, paired with Sneha and Namitha. Music for the movie is by Srikanth Deva, and he has tried a remake of yesteryear hit Maasi Masam for ‘Pandi’.
